About Darcie Duttweiler
A native Austinite (well, the 'burbs technically), Darcie was one of Southwestern University's few townies. During her time there, she was the Arts and Entertainment Editor of the newspaper and even spent a semester interning at Jane magazine in the Big Apple. Graduating Summa Cum Laude as a proud bearer of an English degree, Darcie parlayed her love of impeccable grammar into a writing career, writing for several local publications. After settling into the online world, she worked at Austin Monthly for several years, with highlights including interviewing Ryan Gosling, Keanu Reeves, Gail Simmons, noted fashion photographer Nigel Barker, and Pierce Brosnan.
When she's not at her computer, you'll find her at a movie theater, practicing her crow pose, snuggling with her cat, sipping a goblet of wine, or eating a cheeseburger.
